Christmas Viewfinder is an animatronic display that brings the classic viewfinder toy into three dimensions. Every time the viewfinder lever is pulled, the display elements change, presenting a different story, and a different interpretation of Christmas.
The original documentation can be found here.
My role for this project was designing and fabricating the electronics system that moved/changed the display items and the outer enclosure. I also assisted in curating and creating the items in the display.
This was a group project for 60-223 Intro to Physical Computing at Carnegie Mellon University. I worked with Rachel Nakamura.
